Directives from MoH to All Passengers Fully Vaccinated to Enter Cambodia without Quarantine

PHNOM PENH: Responding to a new normal path in the context of Covid-19, Cambodia has been fully re-energized economically and socially, as people across the country have been vaccinated against Covid-19 , with up to 88 percent of its population of 16.72 million. This led to the special voice message of Prime Minister Hun Sen on Sunday afternoon announcing that all passengers who have fully vaccinated coming into the Kingdom of Cambodia will no longer be required to be quarantine.

The Ministry of Health is informing all relevant authorities at all levels and the public who are coming from abroad both Cambodians and foreigners to follow the instructions.

First, passengers who have been fully vaccinated with Covid-19 and entered Cambodia by air, sea and land must bring their Covid-19 vaccination certificate or certificate confirming their full Covid-19 vaccination and basic certificate of negative test within 72 hours before arriving in Cambodia, recognized by the health authorities of the country concerned. Upon arrival in Cambodia, passengers must take a quick test (Rapid Test) 9 at the entrance to the country and have to wait for the results of the test for 15 to 20 minutes. After receiving a negative Covid-19 test result, the person is able to travel freely throughout Cambodia, regardless of region or province, and is not required to be in a quarantine.

Second, for passengers who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 and traveling to Cambodia, it is required to pass the Corid-19 test by PCR machine and do the quarantine for 14 days accordance with the procedures in force.

And third, passengers who have been fully vaccinated with Covid-19 and currently in quarantined in the hotels and homes across the country will be allow to go home or go wherever they wish from 15 of November, as long as their PCR test result is negative.
